Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Wynter Code ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

License

Wynter Code is licensed under the Polyform Noncommercial License 1.0.0. You are free to use, copy, and modify the Software for any noncommercial purpose. Commercial use requires explicit written permission from the author.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

The author makes no representations or warranties regarding:

  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the Software
  • The suitability of the Software for any particular purpose
  • That the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • That any defects in the Software will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities
  • Any issues arising from third-party integrations or services (including Claude Code CLI, Anthropic services, or any other external APIs)

Third-Party Services

Wynter Code integrates with third-party services including but not limited to Claude Code CLI and Anthropic's API. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. The author is not responsible for any issues, changes, or disruptions to these third-party services.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Your use of the Software and any consequences thereof
  • Maintaining backups of your data and projects
  • Ensuring the Software is appropriate for your intended use
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Any API keys, credentials, or sensitive data you provide to the Software

No Support Obligation

The author is under no obligation to provide support, maintenance, updates, or enhancements to the Software. Any support provided is at the author's sole discretion and does not create an ongoing obligation.

Modifications

The author reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Software after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
